APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE NOTE
  1. Dry cast concrete pavers should only be sealed 60 days after installation. Consult the concrete paver manufacturers for their recommendation.
  2. The temperature should be between 41°F (5°C) and 85°F (30°C) when the sealer is applied.
  3. The paved surface must be cool to the touch when the sealer is applied, between 41°F (5°C) and 85°F (30°C).
  4. First, clean the paved surface with Gator Clean products. Remove all stains (oil, grease, rust or other stains).
  5. Use Gator Efflorescence Cleaner to eliminate any trapped efflorescence. It also effectively cleans the surface, ensuring proper sealer penetration and adhesion.
  6. Apply a single coat of GATOR NATURAL LOOK NF (PFAS-free) for a natural finish.
  7. GATOR NATURAL LOOK NF must be applied on dry surfaces.
  8. Shake well or stir the GATOR NATURAL LOOK NF before and during application. The product appears milky white in the container but leaves a natural look with a slight enhancement of colors to the pavers, walls and natural stones.
  9. Excess application may cause the surface to become slippery when wet.
  10. Specifically intended for use on unsealed surfaces only and cannot serve as a resealer.
  11. Sealed surfaces will be safe for pedestrian and vehicular use after 24 hours.
  12. Wear protective gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection.

STEP 1
Always refer to the latest GATOR NATURAL LOOK NF Technical Data Sheet (TDS) before installing GATOR NATURAL LOOK NF.
STEP 2
Always test the product on a small, hidden area of about 4 sq. ft. (0.4 sq. m) to make sure the results meet your expectations. See Limited Warranty.

Surface preparation

STEP 3

Surface must be clean and dry before sealing. Remove all the stains, oil, dirt, and previous coatings from the concrete pavers using Gator Clean products. Use Gator Clean Sealer Stripper to remove any unknown coating that remains on the concrete paver surface.

 
STEP 4
Remove all contaminated jointing material and replace with Gator Polymeric Sand. Follow the instructions on the back of the bags for proper polymeric sand installation.
STEP 5

Wait at least 48 hours at a minimum temperature of 41°F (5°C) and no rain for the Gator Polymeric Sand to harden properly.

STEP 6
Before sealing, make sure to clean the entire surface using the Gator Efflorescence Cleaner. This product will remove efflorescence from the pores of the concrete paver and thoroughly clean the surface, ensuring proper sealer adhesion.
STEP 7
Wait at least 48 hours at a minimum temperature of 41°F (5°C) with no rain, ensuring the sand and concrete paver surface are dry.
STEP 8
(See online video. 2 people needed) Apply one (1) coat of GATOR NATURAL LOOK NF, using a low-pressure sprayer on 60 sq. ft. (5.6 sq. m.) sections. Then use a water-based (yellow) foam roller to achieve uniform coverage and remove excess sealer left on the surface. (Note: More coats can create a slippery surface).
STEP 9
After 24 hours, the sealed surface will be safe for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
STEP 10
Clean-up: Wash tools and hands with warm, soapy water immediately after use.

Before applying the product, the user/buyer must determine its suitability for the intended use and assume all risks in that regard. It is a condition of the Limited Warranty that before using the product on the intended larger area, the user/buyer must first test the product on a small, less-observed area of approximately 4 sq. ft. (0.4 sq. m.) to ensure results meet the user/buyer’s expectations. If no test is carried out, the Limited Warranty will apply only to 4 sq. ft. (0.4 sq. m.). Please note that this limited warranty applies only when the product purchased is used for the following purposes and on the following surfaces: 1. Residential Purposes (Homeowners or contractors using the product for single or multi-unit dwellings that are used exclusively for residential use) on: • Horizontal surfaces • Vertical surfaces (walls) 2. Commercial or Other Purposes (“Other Purposes” include mixed-use, institutional, or non-residential purposes) on only: • Vertical surfaces (walls). ALLIANCE DESIGNER PRODUCTS INC cannot guarantee results, as it has no control over surface preparation and product application. However, for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase, ALLIANCE DESIGNER PRODUCTS INC agrees that, if the product is proven to be defective with respect to the specific purposes and surfaces stated above, and provided it was applied in accordance with the method of application described in the applicable instructions, ALLIANCE DESIGNER PRODUCTS INC agrees to replace the product. Proof of purchase is required for any claim. The parties agree that the replacement of the product as stated is the only obligation of ALLIANCE DESIGNER PRODUCTS INC In all events, ALLIANCE DESIGNER PRODUCTS INC. shall not be liable for any other damages or costs (including, without limitation, removal or reinstallation of pavers, stones, sand or mortar) whatsoever, direct or consequential. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLIANCE DESIGNER PRODUCTS INC EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ANY IMPLIED OR LEGAL WARRANTY OF QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE.

Please note that when the product is used for COMMERCIAL or OTHER PURPOSES (as described above) on: Horizontal surfaces, the Limited Warranty is for 1 year from the date of purchase. Except that the warranty duration is limited to one (1) year, all the terms, conditions, and exclusions mentioned above for claims also apply. The container must always be stored between 41°F and 85°F (5°C – 30°C) to receive the benefit under the Limited Warranty.
